I am so vulnerable and nothing seem to work

Gradient mesh practice in illustator. Phase one is to create gradient mesh that mimics the curvature of the object. Looks like a 3D wireframe. But it's all done in 3D

Phase 2 is to add color by sampling color from the refrence image, every corner of the grid must be sampled to get the underlying color. It's tedious repetitive work that took 4 hours to do. Next step is to add some more elements and arrange and mask objects to match the original image then add text on the grade that bends around it. will update it soon
